3:00 PM. The Lab doors open. The simulators fire up, and the first people start arriving.
And yet, after all these years, there's still something that surprises us. No one walks in for the same reason.
Over time we've learned that the simulator is almost always just the starting point. Behind every session there's a different story. And it's those stories, more than any lap time, that best describe what the Lab has become over the years.
A driver simulation center that goes beyond simulation
What makes the raceX project special is the enormous diversity among the people who try our simulators every day. And we don't just sit them down and start the session. With each of them we build a relationship, and we try to understand every perspective and ambition.
There's no typical profile for someone who walks into the Lab. There are drivers training with specific goals, enthusiasts looking for a different kind of experience, companies wanting to bring their teams somewhere out of the ordinary.
And then there are those who come in without quite knowing what to expect, and they often become the most loyal.
Those who return to motorsport after a break
We often meet people who, after years spent between circuits and paddocks, can no longer live motorsport the way they once did. Some stepped away for practical reasons, some because of age, some simply because life took a different direction.
For us, it's a privilege to offer them a different way to keep feeling part of this world. Not a compromise, but a genuine alternative — with the same adrenaline, the same competition, the same attention to detail you find on track.
Seeing that spark reignite is something that never stops moving us.
Those who already have that spark
Others already have it. Burning bright. But they have no one to share it with.
That's why our goal has always been to build an environment that goes beyond simple simulation. A place to train, compare, compete, debate an F1 race, or simply meet people who speak the same language.
Because raceX isn't just a driver simulation center, it's a meeting point. Between different people, different paths and different goals. And perhaps that's exactly what makes the Lab something more.
People arrive for different reasons. And sometimes, without even realising it, they leave behind more than just a lap time.
